SYNOPSIS: CONDITIONS WILL SUPPORT AN INCREASE IN RAINFALL
OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. RAINFALL ESTIMATES ARE IN THE VICINITY OF
1.25 TO 1.75 INCHES MOST OF WHICH OCCUR IN THE SOUTH SATURDAY MORNING.
THEN THIS ACTIVITY TAPERS OFF AS THE PERIOD PROGRESSES INTO SUNDAY
NIGHT.

FORECAST THROUGH SATURDAY:
CLOUDY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING. MOSTLY
CLOUDY TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS WILL
INCREASE OVER MOST AREAS AS A TROPICAL WAVE APPROACHES AND CROSSES THE
COUNTRY EARLY SATURDAY.
OUTLOOK: FOR SATURDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH TO SUNDAY MIDDAY IS FOR MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH A FEW
SHOWERS OVER MOST AREAS.

ON THE RIO HONDO AT san Antonio Village RIVER Levels are RISING
SLOWLy and at Douglas Village water level is above normal and steady. ON THE
NEW RIVER AT TOWER HILL and Caledonia Village river level is above normal
and steady

FCST: RIO HONDO CONTINUES TO RISE SLOWLY AND PEAKS ON SUNDAY.
NEW RIVER REMAINS ABOVE NORMAL WITH NO SIGNIFICANT INCREASES IN WATER
LEVELS.
Monday OUTLOOK: RIO HONDO BEGINS TO FALL AND
THE NEW RIVER REMAIN STEADY.

THE MACAL AT SAN IGNACIO LEVELS ARE above normal and falling
BUT above normal and steady
on THE MOPAN RIVER NEAR BENQUE VIEJO TOWN.. ON THE
BELIZE RIVER
LEVELS ARE BELOW BRIDGE NEAR IGUANA CREEK. Near
Banana Bank river levels are above normal AND RISING.. ON THE
CROOKED TREE LAGOON LEVELS ARE BELOW THE CAUSEWAY AND
STEADY. RIVER LEVELS NEAR DOUBLE RUN are ABOVE NORMAL AND
FALLING.

FCST: THE MOPAN remains above normal with no appreciable
rise. iguana creek not expected to rise. therefore expected to remain
below the deck of the bridge.. belize river at banana bank continues to
rise on saturday becoming steady on sunday. at double run also on the
belize river begins to rise on sunday.
Monday OUTLOOK: mopan shows no major
changes. on the belize river banana bank remains steady and double run becomes
steady but above normal on monday.

11:
ON THE SIBUN RIVER LEVELS ARE above normal and RISING AT BOTH
JAGUAR PAW AND GRACIE ROCK.. AT FREETOWN SIBUN THE
LEVEL IS ABOVE NORMAL AND rising. ON THE MULLINS RIVER LEVELS ARE
NORMAL AND STEADY. THE NORTH STANN CREEK is normal and
STEADY NEAR MIDDLESEX and HOPE CREEK. NEAR KENDAL ON THE
SITTEE RIVER, LEVELS ARE below THE LOW LEVEL BRIDGE.
THE MOHO RIVER
IS ABOVE NORMAL AND FALLING. RIO GRANDE IS ABOVE NORMAL AND
FALLING SLOWLY. GOLDEN STREAM AND DEEP RIVER ARE ABOVE NORMAL AND
STEADY.
WEekend
FCST: the sibun remain above normal and continues to
rise. POSSIBLE FLOOD ALERT FOR SIBUN RIVER. mullins river shows no major
changes. north stann creek at middlesex and hope creek rise during
saturday evening/night. kendall on the sittee rises saturday night with
moderate to high likelihood of innundation of the causeway during that
time. however, this overflow expected to be of short duration. moho
river to forecast to become steady. rio grande also expected to become
steady then rise on sunday. both golden stream and deep river rise and
become steady on sunday.
monday OUTLOOK: sibun becomes steady
but remains above normal. north stann creek becomes steady. kendall on
the sittee continues to fall. moho remains steadY. the rio grande,
golden stream and deep river all remain steady
REGION 13:
LEVELS ARE ABOVE normal AND STEADY ON
THE Sarstoon River. THE TEMASH Is also ABOVE NORMAL AND
steady.
